Charge:
- Assist in the coordination of the Plenary Session at the annual convention.
- Assist in the publication of the Plenary Presentations in the Journal of Business Communication.
- Identify the Outstanding Research Award recipient.
- Identify the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Business Communication Award recipient.
- Design and deliver presentations at conferences, such as the Ph.D. symposium.
- Determine if a Research Forum should be held at the annual convention.
- Continue to serve as an important resource for the Association on research issues.
- Assist ABC to achieve the following objectives in its strategic plan: 1.1.1 (with an emphasis on identity issues), 1.1.3 (work with the new Web Editor), 1.2.1, 1.3.5, and 1.3.6.
