73rd Annual Convention of the Association for Business Communication
October 29 – November 1, 2008
Lake Tahoe Resort - Incline Village, Nevada
111 Country Club Drive, Incline Village, Nevada, USA 89451

The theme of ABC’s 73rd annual convention is Strategic Business Communication: A Reflection of Critical Thinking in the Classroom and the Workplace. This meeting, on the shores of Lake Tahoe, will provide an excellent venue for reflection on the essential role business communication plays in our global society. Without question, the global workplace mandates higher levels of coordination, integration, and communication.

As business communication faculty, we have the potential to play a pivotal role in educating the leaders of tomorrow and positioning our programs to be key components in the business curriculum. As business communication practitioners, we have the potential to develop communication practices that will affect how business is conducted around the world.

ABC members and non-members are invited to attend and to submit proposals for papers related to current issues, theory, research, practice, consulting, and teaching of business and professional communication.

To submit a proposal for the conference, go to: www.businesscommunicationconferences.org

Online registration is available until October 20; after that date you may register on site, at the convention.
