JBC Podcasts

Podcasts of interviews with some of the authors who have published their work in the Journal of Business Communication will  be available at http://job.sagepub.com/site/misc/Index/Podcasts.xhtml

The first podcast features Jennifer Mize Smith of Western Kentucky University who talks with JBC media manager Daylanne Markwardt about her article, “Philanthropic Identity at Work: Employer Influences on the Charitable Giving Attitudes and Behaviors of Employees”, which was published in the April 2013 issue of JBC.

Another new feature provided on Sage’s Web site for the journal is Editor’s Choice, which provides access to 50 select articles published in the journal with discussions of five business communication topics: Communication competence, discourse/conversation analysis, intercultural/multicultural communication, management/leadership communication, and organizational communication. Editor’s Choice articles are intended to provide a resource to faculty looking for student readings in these areas as well as researchers looking for reference articles to support their research efforts.
